Hi All…
I’ve a lots of Unposted Foods photos!!!
I’ve been keeping few photos for myself but has no time to post it here… Urrmm.. The photos was taken from few months ago to few days ago.. so might be a lil bit messy…
You might be interested to peep at least ^.*
I will start with this:
Healthy breakfast with strawberries and cereal. Yummy… ^.^
Mama has been making Baos since we were young. She learnt from Granny and I still couldn’t copy the right methods until now. She never used any food preservatives thus its color is not white and the texture is not foamy like in the market shelves, plus Homemade filling as well. It’s good for health when you are not using preservatives.
In my hometown, we’ll be able to find Kampong Chicken Egg which is from chicken that is fed with no chemical food. Those chicken only eat grains and “eheemm” earth-worm sometimes and sometimes caterpillar. @.@… But it produces healthy egg compare to mass produced egg. Kampong chicken egg is much smaller in size and amount. Well, the photo I show here is the lonely kampong chicken egg and double egg-yoke egg. Urrmm.. I have not asked my bro how could he got the double egg-yoke one. It’s kinda creepy but it’s true..And Hi All, Kampong Chicken Egg is the best in quality, trust me!!
Garlic Prawn for dinner. It’s a copy from Joon’s small party menu but his was much spicier. I couldn’t take such spicy, so I make it fragrance with GARLIC.. it works like magic.. yummmooo… It’s so simple… grilled the prawn on the pan or best on a griller til it dry and throw in a lot a lot of garlic in there, not forgetting about the black pepper and salt… slluuurrpppyyy!!!
My very hometown, the place where I was born, Bagan Siapi-Api. And this is its original Curry rice, we call it KariPeng in Hokkien. Kari means Curry, Peng means Rice. Sticky and fragrance curry made of curry powder, potato cubes and small slices of porks (use a lil bit of starch on it to have a smooth and soft porkie!!) in coconut milk. It usually is served with stewed pork and egg, with a lil bit chili baby prawn on the side but I couldn’t find baby prawn here.. grgrgrgr… But it still tasted delicious.. Oh.. miss my Kampung!!
I saw it on TV show. It’s teaching simple way to make Tortilla, fragrance tortilla. The dough ingredients are only flour, rosemary, olive oil, warm water, and salt. Put all together in a food processor (wish I had one, but i used fork). Take it out and put it on a chopping board. knead it with some flour gently. Let it be covered by a clean cloth for awhile then roll it as thin as possible. Toast it on a hot non-stick pan. It created bubbly surface … Sooo ccuuuttee.. ^.6
After that, I grilled some porkie with rosemary, other spices, and salt. I grilled some carrot and mushroom too cos it’s complementary, with some salt and pepper of course !! yuuummm…
Well, I made the rosemary tortilla with other combination:
The prawn salad was just like Miki’s but different in the ingredients. Simple, it’s only fresh boiled-prawn, the greens, cherry tomato, lime, salt and pepper. served with japanese cucumber.
Beside the wrap, I love the smoked porkie.. With Blueberry smoothies. Easy to make. It’s just banana, blueberry, and milk… hohoho..
Easy and simple pancake; flour, milk, salt and sometime you might want to add baking soda but I’m not using it anymore. I have tried to eliminate baking soda as I’m eating pancake quite frequent. At first I tried ENO powder, cooling drink powder then you may try 7=Up or pepsi then eliminate them to not using them at all. They taste the same. It’s for health concern. Yummyyy with a lil bit of Kiwi jam and walnut with few slices of strawberry and banana. Drink: Strawberry smoothies. It looked sexy… ^.*
Rich taste Pork Kurobuta, At least this is the type of sausages that i dare to eat. Can you imagine what is the ingredients of those sausages that you can only see and feel the smooth and soft texture? well, too smooth and soft is not right. Furthermore, it’s color and taste… uurrgghhh… you may question yourselves… ~.~
Errm,, ou yeah.. you may want some balsamic vinegar with olive oil, it’s tasty. I have read from a magazine, balsamic vinegar is the best in its quality… Good for Life !
