Here is some ideas when you are busy. Just dump everything into one and that’s Pasta.

Stew Chicken & Tomato base Spaghetti - 16th Dec 2011 Dinner

Stew Chicken & Tomato base Spaghetti - 16th Dec 2011 Dinner

No canned tomato here. I blended about 6 tomatoes, olive oil, pepper, salt, and garlic on the heated pan and then pour the tomato puree on it. put some italian herbs.. Done!!! Stew chicken; celery, potato, herbs, pepper, salt, olive oil… that’s all.. soft grilled the broccoli and shredded cheese…

Cream base Pasta - 17th Dec 2011 Dinner

Cream base Pasta - 17th Dec 2011 Dinner

This was even easier. It just like dump everything into 1. boiled the pasta as usual, I dont like to put oil while boiling it bcos it won’t stick with the sauce well later on. So, I don’t really find there is any point of putting the oil into the boiling water when boiling the pasta.. Well, continue… cook the meat, vege, and mushroom.. again italian herb, pepper, and salt is a must for me.. hehe.. and then cream, you may use pure cream. sluurrppp.. `.`

Broccoli soup with Garlic bread - 18th Dec 2011 Brekky

Broccoli soup with Garlic bread - 18th Dec 2011 Brekky

Pretty simple… cook the garlic in olive oil and broccoli, put some water instead of chicken broth bcos i found that most people are using boxed or ready-made chicken broth, well that’s not good too. You may cook your own chicken broth actually.

Usually, I let it cool for awhile and then pour it into food processor or blender. Blend it till it become puree and then bring it to simmer again. Put some cream, italian herbs, salt and pepper.

Garlic bread spread… butter, a lil bit of salt, pepper, celery, and italian herbs… grill or bake it… Settled!! do both things at once.. it’s fast!!

Mango Glutinuous Rice for Munch - 19th Dec 2011

Mango Glutinuous Rice for Munch - 19th Dec 2011

Too much glutinou rice is not good for tummy, so eat this once in a blue moon, ok..

Method to cook the glutinous rice: wash it about 2 x, put it on a aluminium/stainless steel or ceramic deep broad bowl, put the water level about a lil bit higher than the rice. You may want to add a lil bit of sugar (I use brown sugar, no bleaching). Bring it to steam for about uurrmm.. til it soft, maybe about 20 minutes. let it cool. Cut the mango put on top of it. Bring the coconut milk to simmer, add in some salt. And we’re done!!!
